Selattyn and Gobowen Parish is in the north west corner of Shropshire, bordering North Wales. A largely rural parish, it includes the villages of Selattyn and Gobowen, the settlements of Hengoed and Pant Glas and many outlying farms and other properties.
The Llangollen Canal flows along the north eastern parish boundary and the Offa’s Dyke Path National Trail crosses the parish.
